Today and transits

Today’s panchang, where the planets are moving against your chart, and traditional timing (Muhurta) for what you’re planning.

Ask Jyoti

Ask in your own words. Jyoti, your AI astrology guide, explains placements using your calculated chart and follows up when you want to go deeper.

What does my Moon in Rohini mean?

Traditionally, Rohini is linked with warmth, growth and a love of beauty. That’s the classical reading; your Moon’s house and aspects shape how it shows up. Want to look at those next?

  • How can I understand my current Dasha?
  • What patterns show up in my relationships?
  • Explain a Sanskrit term

Report and look back

Your language, your tone

English, हिन्दी, संस्कृतम्, தமிழ், తెలుగు, ಕನ್ನಡ, മലയാളം and বাংলা. Choose Gentle or Direct.

“Saturn periods tend to reward patience. Many people find them slower but clarifying, a good stretch for building habits you can sustain.”

Same facts, same limits. Only the tone changes.

Tarot reflection

Pick three cards from a face-down deck for past, present and ahead, and read what each could ask you to think about. It sits apart from your chart: cards are drawn at random, not calculated from your Kundli, and they don’t predict events.

How it works

Come as you are. Start with your story.

  1. 01

Share when and where you were born

Date, time and place are the foundation. Not sure of the time? Mark it approximate or unknown and Nakshatra won’t pretend otherwise.

  2. 02

    We calculate your chart

Planet positions come from an astronomy engine, using Lahiri ayanamsa and whole-sign houses, recalculated from your saved details each time. The AI never invents the numbers.

  3. 03

    Read, ask and look back

Explore your readings, ask Jyoti follow-ups, save what resonates, and revisit it whenever you want a fresh perspective.

Let’s find your chart

Our approach

Calculated facts. Traditional meaning. Your call.

01 · Calculated

Planet positions, houses and Dasha dates. Numbers you can check against any other chart.

02 · Traditional

What Vedic tradition says those placements can mean, labelled as interpretation and never as fact.

03 · Suggested

Small, optional ideas to reflect on. No compulsory remedies and no exact-event predictions.

  • Unsure of your birth time? You’ll see a limited chart with only the stable parts, never an invented ascendant.
  • Direct mode changes the tone of a reading, not how certain it is.
  • Delete your saved chart and birth details whenever you choose.
How Nakshatra calculates your chart

Questions

Good questions. Straight answers.

I’m new to astrology. Where do I start?

Start with your birth chart overview. Nakshatra explains each placement in plain language, and you can ask Jyoti to unpack any Sanskrit term as you go.

What details do I need, and what if I’m unsure of my birth time?

Your date, time and place of birth. If the time is approximate or unknown, say so: Nakshatra then shows only the parts of the chart that stay stable, rather than inventing an ascendant or houses.

How are my readings created?

Positions are calculated by code, using a sidereal chart with Lahiri ayanamsa and whole-sign houses. Jyoti, an AI guide, then explains those calculated facts using traditional Vedic interpretation.

Can astrology predict my future?

No. Astrology is a traditional framework for reflection, not a scientifically established way to forecast events. Nakshatra avoids exact-event claims, and your choices and judgment stay central.

Is Jyoti a real astrologer?

No. Jyoti is an AI guide. Answers can be wrong, so treat them as a starting point and compare them with the calculated facts shown alongside them.

Which languages and chart styles are available?

Readings and chat work in English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Bengali. Charts can be shown in North, South or East Indian style.
